Imperial Vizier Zor'lok
This boss is a 4 Phase boss. Each phase is noted by the boss leaving the platform that he was last on.
Recommended set up
1 Tank
2-3 Healers
5-6 DPS (depends on how good the dps are)
Forever in this fight Tanks must look for..
Inhale stacks - What these stacks do is boost the damage of his ability Exhale.
Exhale - This ability is cast periodically through out the fight. This ability is deadly to the majority of tanks when Inhale is at 2 or 3 stacks. What the tank has to do is each time this ability is cast is run in-front of the person being targeted by this ability. If the boss is at 2 stacks use a light cooldown, however at 3 stacks use one large cooldown.
Phase 1
Phase 1 starts on the platform the to left and has the middle of the room fill with a silencing gas that deals 19,000 damage per second your in it. The ability to look out for on this platform is Force and Verve. This ability will deal 120,000 Physical Damage ever one second for 10 seconds. This is dealt with by standing in little orbs that are dropped by the boss. There are 3 bubbles on all difficulties but have a limit. 4 people max in a bubble on 10 man 8 on 25. The way most guilds do this fight is Melee in the first bubble (your tank and 2 other melee) the 2ed cast bubble should be your healers and lastly you ranged in the 3ed bubble. The bubbles are dropped kinda fast so most of the time your melee bubble would be the closest to the boss followed by your healer one dropped near the melee and the ranged will be the farthest.
Phase 2
Phase 2 Will start when Zor'lok drops to 79-81% HP. The ability here is Attenuation this ability will deal 120,000 physical damage IF you get hit by any of the spinning orbs. These orbs spawn in a star shape. Just like this or to the left. . Tanks keep doing what you were doing on Exhale and at 59-61% hp on the boss he will move to his last platform. The one in the middle, across from the entry stares.
Phase 3
Phase 3 is the easiest of the 4 phases. This phase has a Mind control ability that all you have to do as a dps OR healer is keep your Crowd Controls on cooldown or you risk CC'ing a healer or the tanks killing them or making the other people work harder then they should. As a dps you HAVE to switch to the Mind Controlled people and break them free as fast as possible. Tanks keep up on Exhale!
Phase 4
Phase 4 starts at 38-41% hp on the boss where he fly's to the middle of the room eats all of the gas clearing it for you to stand in BUT he also gets a 20% haste and 10% damage Buff until he or you are dead. In this phase he will do all of his ability's but normally they go in an Attenuation followed by a Force and Verve. Keep your rotations going on Force and Verve to keep people alive. If you get to a phase of Mind Controls you have to break these people before a new set of boss abilities. If the boss does end up getting off a new set of abilities leave the people mind controled, live and hope for the best, that is the only advice for something like that happening.
Follow these steps and you should have a dead boss.
